About the iRJ45 Module

The iRJ45 module provides communication capabilities in the domain of industrial communication. The iRJ45 acts as communication controller (CC), executing all external communication. Within this document this module is referenced as CC or CCM (communication controller module). The application controller (AC), which is a user defined controller with a set of software modules, controls the communication controller using a set of APIs. Communication between CC and AC uses the protocol "Core To Core". This document describes APIs that are specific to the CCM function.
