CANopen Library variants

port provides the CANopen Library in the following variants:

Open

The CANopen Library uses normally global variables for the management of the CANopen services. If there is the requirement to avoid global variables, port provides a variant with non-global variables. The usage of non-global variables requires a multi-line CANopen Library but can only be used for CANopen communication in one CANopen network.

The single-line variant allows the CANopen device to participate in CANopen communication in one CANopen network. CANopen communication in several CANopen networks at the same time is possible with the multi-line variant.
