port GmbH provides products for the development and commisioning of CANopen devices. The product range includes:

  • CANopen Library consists of the CANopen Library Stack and one or more CANopen Library Drivers , providing CANopen protocols

  • Industrial Communication Creator (ICC) tool for designing CANopen devices

  • CANopen Device Monitor tool including a CANopen Server as CANopen Master for testing of CANopen devices

  • CANopen bootloader for program downloads

The CANopen Library and the CANopen bootloaders are delivered as ANSI-C code and must be integrated in the application program.

The ICC tool allows to:

  • create the object dictionary of the CANopen device,

  • configure the CANopen services and

  • scale the CANopen Library for code size optimization

and generates C code, which must also be integrated in the application program. Furthermore the ICC tool generates descriptions of the object dictionary. The EDS file is used by the CANopen Device Monitor to simplify the access to the objects.
