After installation of Paulus the source code is stored in the directory structure shown in Figure 3.

The directory bootloader contains the hardware independent part of the software, compiler project files and main.c. The hardware dependent code is located in the directory <target>, e.g. horch. The tools directory contains software that is necessary to create images for Paulus.
